Its A New Blog♠

Okay, one more time, this is my 3rd try at a blog, was rolling right along until I changed an HTML setting on the old one and, whoops, no followers, nothing but the blog. It actually did what I wanted which was to widen the posting area but fouled everything else up.

Then I couldn't add photos anywhere but at the top, nothing in the middle of the post where it might pertain to what I was talking about.
Like here is Tiny Tim but when I tried to put a picture of the new foster kitten on the old blog it kept going to the very top of the post. And here IS the foster kitten: taking a nap with Dave, the Jack Russell mix.

The black thing is a tiny stuffed toy cat!

I got a lot done today even though I answered phones from 3:30 until 8PM. Got up fairly early for having gone to bed at 5AM, think it was 11:05AM. Showered, went to Western Union for a money order, did some grocery shopping, got a hair cut and style, did some more shopping. Have been wanting to replace my old Ironman ladies watch that finally croaked after a number of years, actually many years, like close to 10. No one seemed capable of putting a new battery in it, I still have it, in case I ever find someone handy with watches. Anyway, found a nice one in grey with a kind of metallic blue for accents. I didn't even have to drag out the intructions to set it. Came home and started some wash, now have load number 4 in the washer and the dryer load comes out in 9 minutes. Only problem is traversing the 17 steps to get to the washer and dryer and then again to bring the clothes up. Having no storage makes for fun too, trying to find nooks and crannies for things, not clothes particularly, but cat bedding and sheets. I have a tall shelving unit that used to hold dog food at the hospital and am using it for a place to contain those items. Doesn't look particularly great but at least they're all in one place where I can find them.

When I was done with the phones I ordered some food from the Chinese place two blocks down the road, nothing fancy, two eggrolls and some fried rice. So I ate about 8:45PM, fed the dogs, the cats eat free style, which means they always have dry food and occasionally get treats and canned food. But, not too often, I find sometimes it causes upset tummies which makes for a mean-looking litter box!

So much for the watch, I suddenly noticed after setting the timer several times for the washer and dryer, that the watch wasn't making any noise. So I checked to make sure both chime and bell were on, and set it for 5 minutes, nothing, not a sound. So back to WallyWorld I go. Did you know there are people who take children out after midnight to go shopping? I had no idea, when I go shopping its normally 3 or 4 in the morning and its me and the employees and I
love it, no carts running into you, no screaming, unruly kids running up and down the aisles. I just figured kids were in bed at midnight, silly me.I only mention this because there was a woman in front of me with what seemed to be her pregnant daughter and 5 lively kids. Think they'd have been better off to have one of the adults stay home and babysit. I only say that because the grandma seemed quite annoyed and the daughter said she thought she might faint.

The other thing that has happened to me, which actually began yesterday is I have somehow lost a working Internet Explorer. I try to Remove it from Add/Remove and it tells me its not there, when I open it, it says nothing at the very top, no Microsoft Internet Explorer and usually the name of the site its on. Thats all blank, and there is no File, Edit toolbar. I've searched all over the Internet, and everywhere I went it says right click on a blank space and guess what? When I do that I get nothing, nada, zilch, just nothing, its like the mouse is paralyzed and blind. I've tried to go back to IE 6 says going to abort you have a newer version on your computer. So am using Mozilla Firefox just to get online, its okay but there are things you need IE for that Firefox can't do. I can't think of them offhand but I know there are some because I've used it before and gone back to IE always.

On that note, I am going to put the first "Bourne" movie in the DVD player and watch it while I fold clothes.
